According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Nico Williams has spurned both Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona in favor of a mega contract extension with Athletic Bilbao: BREAKING | Nico #Williams has signed a new contract with @AthleticClub until 2035!

The Catalan club were rebuffed by Athletic Club last summer and had to compete with Bayern Munich for the winger.

After missing out on Nico Williams, Barcelona are still interested in signing Marcus Rashford – but he is not their first choice transfer target. It has long been known that Rashford has no future at Manchester United following a fall out with head coach Ruben Amorim last year.
