Massachusetts is under a red flag warning​ as the state continues to see an unprecedented number of brush fires.

On top of other things going on this week, Massachusetts is monitoring a “red flag warning,” weather-wise. That means the entire state is at risk for brush and wildfires through Friday, Nov. 8, due to dry conditions, warm temperatures and gusty winds.

Looks were deceiving today with abundant sunshine! Although at this point, it would be nice to see a rain cloud. We’ll take any rain.

A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Tuesday as several brush fires continue burning throughout the Bay State amid arid conditions.

Massachusetts fire departments continue to urge against outdoor burning, with the National Weather Service issuing a Red Flag Warning in the Bay State. As temperatures soar and the wind picks up, state fire officials are battling even more daunting conditions. Due to scarce rainfall, most of the Commonwealth is in at least a moderate drought.

"Conditions will remain ripe for developing wildfires through at least Saturday thanks to a stiff northwest breeze and low relative humidity," the NWS said.
