Shares have advanced in Asia, apart from in China, after most U.S. stocks ticked higher to recover some of their sharp slide from last week.

Asian shares were cautious on Wednesday as investors looked ahead to earnings results from AI darling Nvidia where the risk of disappointment is high, while the dollar gave back a little of its recent bumper gains.

U.S. stocks are ticking higher as Wall Street recovers some of last week’s sharp slide. The S&P 500 rose 0.3% in afternoon trading Monday.
