Brands of the recalled carrots include Bunny Luv, Trader Joe's, Wegmans and more. The recall was initiated by Grimmway Farms. So far, there have been 39 illnesses, 15 hospitalizations and one death associated with the outbreak. Cases have been reported in 18 states.

Grimmway Farms, an organic vegetables producer based in California, has initiated a voluntary recall of various sizes and brands of bagged carrots. They include organic baby and whole carrots. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),

The outbreak has been tied to multiple brands of recalled organic carrots sold by Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, Target, Kroger, Food Lion and Publix, among others, officials said.
