We received a lot of snow this past week, which is not good for the ice-making process because the snow insulates the ice. I’ve already noticed the impact on Lake Bemidji.

Much of the heavy snow we had last week has settled down and you can access almost any place without any problems. On most lakes, there is 10-12 inches of good, clear ice.
