Cyclones and extreme weather have killed at least 366 people in Sri Lanka, 604 in Indonesia, and 176 in Thailand, according to authorities.
Hundreds more were still missing and millions have been displaced in the rain-drenched region, with Sri Lanka and Indonesia hit particularly hard.
The toll from flooding and landslides triggered by Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka increased to 355 on Monday, Daily Mirror quoted the country's disaster management centre as saying.
