Former NBA MVP Russell Westbrook has signed with the Sacramento Kings, according to reports.

The long-rumored partnership between Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings finally became a reality on Wednesday.

With Westbrook going to Sacramento, he will provide point guard depth to a team that entered the offseason without a true player at the position on the roster.

Knicks guard Malcolm Brogdon, the former NBA Rookie of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year, has decided to retire after nine NBA seasons, he told ESPN.

But Wednesday afternoon, one week before the opener, Brogdon suddenly decided to retire, he told ESPN in a statement.
