The NBA is launching a new multi-platform streaming offering and the reimagined NBA TV, which will offer live basketball games, highlights and original programming, starting Wednesday.

The NBA is shaking up the way it will offer content, taking a 24/7 programming approach for its mobile app and television channel.

Changes come as the league takes back control of the app and NBA TV from TNT Sports and Warner Bros. Discovery

The first of two documentaries will come out on NBA TV. The "Loud City" documentary will be shown on Wednesday at 4 p.m. CT. Jalen Williams will narrate it as the league shows fans their journey to the Larry O'Brien trophy.

The league is taking full control over its cable channel and streaming platform, 17 years after Turner Sports and Warner Bros. Discovery first began running the operation.
