Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus has announced her retirement from swimming at the age of 25. Titmus, a world record holder in the 200m freestyle, won four Olympic gold medals during her career, including two in Paris last summer, which came after undergoing surgery to remove an ovarian tumour in August 2023.
