Nintendo announced it would raise the price of its Switch 2 consoles to $500 starting Sept. 1.

One of the highlights of the Switch 2 is GameChat, which lets you easily talk to and see your friends while playing online. The upcoming Star Fox 64 remake for Nintendo's console adds a new feature that uses your face to power an avatar based on the game's iconic characters.

Today, Nintendo surprise dropped news that StarFox is headed to Switch 2 very soon, although it's not a totally brand-new game.

If you're nostalgic for the original Star Fox 64, you'll find level designs and story direction largely unchanged here, but there are some modern tweaks.
