RUIDOSO, N.M. — Flooding is once again hitting the Ruidoso area, closing roads and wiping away at least one home. A flash flood warning is in effect until 3:30 p.m. Lindsey Tharpe posted video of a home floating away on Paradise Canyon at Hart.
According to an emergency alert and videos obtained by Action 7 News, flash flooding was ongoing in areas near Ruidoso. Emergency officials say flooding is imminent in Friedenbloom, Ruidoso Downs, and Glencoe.

The spokesperson said the flash flooding that came down from one of the burn scars is currently starting to recede and they are now starting to clean up the debris.
