LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police are set to hold a press conference to give an update on the deadly church shooting that happened Sunday. The press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Watch live above. The Fayette County Coroner has identified the shooter as 47-year-old Guy House. We’re told he died from a gunshot wound.

Christine Combs, 34, and Beverly Gumm, 72, were killed Sunday after a gunman opened fire on churchgoers at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, the Lexington Police Department said. Both women were members of the church, while two male congregants were also wounded – one critically, according to cops.

On Sunday, a traffic stop in Lexington, Kentucky, escalated into a violent and fatal crime. After attacking a police officer, a man shot two women in a church. The perpetrator was killed by police. The investigation is ongoing.
