A thief is understood to have sprayed a shop keeper with ammonia during a robbery at the Hawthorn Street USave store.

Police are searching for a man who was wearing a green and grey tracksuit top with a zip, orange shorts, black socks and black trainers. He fled the scene in the direction of Memel Street.
