We planted over 200 plants inside the Central California Women’s Facility (CCWF) in Chowchilla for Victims Awareness Day, with participants planting in honor of their victims. This was our first big planting event, and now we’re planning another, extending to other yards. In partnership with the Inside Garden Program and the National Park Service, we’ve already planted over 200 different plants. Our goal is to show the ladies inside that they are not forgotten and to create healing spaces where
