On this weekend commemorating the passing of Gospel Music Legend, Ben Speer, I pause to reflect on the personal impact this man made as a publisher, businessman, performer and friend. It was Ben Speer who first took an interest in a young man’s writing and gave voice and platform to his songs for most of twenty years.
