In this day and age pet macaws shouldn’t be isolated in a glorified “ flight” cage down the backyard or sitting mindlessly in a house cage. Breeders should be harness training their baby macaws and setting them up for success so they can be a valued family member and included in day to day life.. if you cannot give a macaw this type of attention, you shouldn’t have a macaw… and if your idea of keeping a single macaw is to shove it out back in a 6- 10 metre aviary … isolating it for hours on end,
